Star Spangled Banner ~ Dixie Chicks
After diligently searching for many versions of our National Anthem, this is definately my favorite. And the irony of the Dixie Chicks singing in honor of our troop is delicious.
Take time to sing the National Anthem today. It is an awesome song, and a reminder of blessings that we should never forget.

I like theirs better than the one my radio station played last night, but pleased enough that it was the first song they played after midnight not to care too much who sang it.
Last night's show did a 21 gun salute before beginning the fireworks as well... sometimes I'm very grateful for small towns like Manchester.
