Pirates in the Cove

"why is he dressed as a pirate?" you might be asking yourself. Or even more "why is there a priest with a pirate hat?"

I could tell you the real story--but that is boring. I could tell you a fun and fanciful and falsified fiction--but I'm really not feeling creative enough for that. I could tell you that I was in a performance of "The Pirates of Penzance"--but that would simply be daydreaming. I could tell you I was at a "One Peice" cosplay contest--but that is simply freaky...even for me.

I can tell you that it involved karaoke, line dancing, and a trip to Applebees (in costume)--and I leave the rest to your imagination. ;-)

P.S.--many thanks to my big brother for the use of his outfit and sword. it was a hit! (the costume, not the sword, I mean)
